Crash data is now available at nevadadot.com in an online map. The map is interactive and currently includes crash data for the years 2014-2016. The website also includes user tutorials. Users can search crash data by location and apply filters to display crash severity, crash type, and pedestrian/bicycle/motorcycle involvement.
For individual crash reports, please contact the local law enforcement agency that responded to the crash, as NDOT does not possess crash reports.
NDOT’s Traffic Safety Engineering Division goals are to implement safety features and enhancements that will produce a decrease in the frequency, rate, severity of, and potential for crashes involving motor vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, and wildlife on state-maintained roadways in Nevada.
The website is a collaborative effort of NDOT, Nevada Department of Public Safety – Office of Traffic Safety, and law enforcement agencies. If you have questions, please contact crashinforequests@dot.nv.gov.
